History

Doctor Brown grew up observing the value placed on quality of life at his parent's veterinary clinic. A natural inclination for technology and science led him to study Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.  In 2017, Dr. Brown completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. 

In November of 2017 Dr. Brown founded Sublime Life Solutions in his college town of Rochester, NY. Leveraging his technical prowess, Dr. Brown's early projects focused on using the smart home to improve the short term rental management and guest experience.

In June of 2018, Sublime Life Solutions became a NYS Dept of State Licensed Security and Fire Alarm Installer after completing over 80 hours of training by the New York State Electronic Security Association (NYSESA) and passing a NYS Licensing Exam. This license allowed Sublime Life Solutions to expand into the professional security market and offer video surveillance and monitored security and fire alarm systems.  To enhance the integration of security, video, entertainment, and smart home systems, SLS became an Alarm.com Authorized Dealer.
